👁 Seeing IS believing! The action was TOO GOOD 👁 Seeing IS believing! The action was TOO GOOD TO MISS during my demo of an ⁣
innovative new diagnostic tool 👀⁣
⁣⁣
💉 I was demonstrating the IntraVu needlescope – a revolutionary new diagnostic tool for shoulder pain to a group of pain management specialists near Philadelphia.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
💯 The device from @intravumedical⁣ allows for virtually 100% accurate diagnoses of shoulder pain (knee, ankle, wrist and elbow too!) and also allows for TARGETED 🎯 🎯 🎯 delivery of stem cells 💉 and PRP.⁣⁣
⁣
✅ FIVE reasons to use a needlescope versus an MRI⁣
 1. Virtually 100% accurate⁣
 2. See inside the joint⁣
 3. It's not surgery⁣
 4. It's quick⁣
 5. It's covered by insurance⁣
⁣
✅ BONUS REASON⁣
 6. A needlescope eliminates error with injections⁣
⁣⁣
💉 Its important to know that the injection is actually IN the joint 💉. Sounds simple but confirmation of the injection into the joint requires imaging confirmation. X-ray is not accurate and ultrasound is helpful but ACTUALLY SEEING the inside of the joint makes it 100% assured.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
⏩ This procedure is quick and results are immediate. Avoids being stuck in an MRI machine for 30 minutes!⁣

⁣
👨🏽‍⚕️ The shoulder is not quite as straight forward as the old 'Dem Bones' song. In fact, the shoulder is one of the most complex joints and configurations in the body. ⁣
⁣
✔️ The bones of the shoulder comprise:⁣
⁣
 1) The Humerus (Upper Arm)⁣
 2) The Scapula (Shoulder Blade)⁣
 3) The Clavicle (the Collar Bone) ⁣
⁣
✔️ There are also four joints in the shoulder...⁣
⁣
 1) The Acromioclavicular Joint (AC Joint) – joins the acromion and the clavicle⁣
 2) The Sternoclavicular Joint – where the clavicle joins the sternum (breast bone) ⁣
 3) The Scapulothoracic Joint – (not a true joint) between the scapula and the thorax enables upward and downward movement of the arm⁣
 4) The Glenohumeral Joint - the ball & socket joint joining the scapula and humerus⁣
⁣
...these allow it to have a larger range of motion than any other joint. ⁣
⁣
💵This miracle of biological mechanism does come at a cost however. ⁣
⁣
🦴The shoulder contains muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones and cartilage. Damage to any component from an injury or disease can result in pain and dysfunction. ⁣
⁣
😫 The shoulder is susceptible to injury and degenerative disease that can cause acute and chronic pain.⁣
⁣
🛎QUICK QUIZ: What is the main disadvantage of using x-rays for diagnosing shoulder injuries⁣
⁣
A) X-rays only show tissue injuries⁣
B) X-rays only show bones⁣
C) X-rays don't show colors⁣
D) There is no disadvantage⁣

#Repost @gustmanlaw – Glad I could help diagnose #Repost @gustmanlaw – Glad I could help diagnose Mr Gustman's pain.

💉 The IntraVu needlescope - the revolutionary diagnostic tool from @intravumedical gives orthopedic surgeons like me incredible insight into the precise cause of an injury so we can treat it in the most effective way.

🙏🏽 Thanks again for the review!
・・・
Partner Brian Gustman, Esq. wants to sincerely thank @stevenstruhlmd @acjointseparation for a successful right shoulder surgery! After a right shoulder needle scope was performed in their office Mr. Gustman was able to see actual photographs showing the partial thickness tear in his right shoulder. Thank you again @stevenstruhlmd for your professionalism and guidance!
📸 The images from this surgery show the tear in 📸 The images from this surgery show the tear in the tendon that was causing the pain. Notice on the first photo which was done while viewing through air that the tendon is very red indicating that it is inflamed and certainly a cause of pain. The second photo shows the tear while viewing through the fluid medium and one can see it is very shredded. The last photo shows a nice smooth surface once the torn tendon has been removed. This was the only finding in the shoulder. No arthritis and no bone spurs. Recovery from this type of damage is quick as it was in this case.⁣
⁣
😍Because this tear is fairly thin it is commonly missed by MRI. For patients like these the diagnostic needlescope is the diagnostic test of choice! Knowing this tear is the cause of pain can spare the patient from needless injections and other treatments that will not address the problem.⁣

🏋️ As one of the top experts in the country i 🏋️ As one of the top experts in the country in complex shoulder surgery, I have performed a countless number of procedures on various types of professional athletes, allowing them to return to their competitive sports after treatment. ⁣
⁣
🥊🥋My patient, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, MMA fighter and trainer @brandonb52medina, recently suffered from a painful acromioclavicular joint dislocation. ⁣
⁣
🎉 Thanks to breakthroughs in the treatment of complex shoulder conditions, I was able to use my revolutionary, patented "closed-loop, double endobutton repair" technique during Brandon’s ACJ surgery to successfully correct the dislocation. ⁣
⁣
💯 My "closed-loop double, endobutton repair" or "continuous loop" procedure for acromioclavicular joint separation has shown superior results when compared to suture-button and traditional techniques, as it has a strong and durable fixation, allows for normal physiologic movement and is surgeon friendly, minimizing complication risk and plan for long-term biologic stability. ⁣
⁣
🏆 I am happy to report Brandon was able to get back to 100% in a timely manner.⁣
